This is already the third set of these solar lamps that I have bought — simply because the quality and durability impress me. The lamps are well made, easy to install and look very attractive in the garden, on paths or on the terrace.
What I particularly like:
• Robustness: Even in wind, weather and occasional enemy contact with lawnmowers, the lamps survive quite a bit. Even if you accidentally rip your foot out of the ground, it can be quickly repaired with a cable tie.
• Long-term use: I leave them outside all year round — even in winter. Even when there is little sun, they usually work reliably into the night.
• Serviceability: Should an LED fail, it can be easily replaced if you can handle a soldering iron.
What I noticed with the third batch:
• The previously installed mirrored reflector on the floor is now missing — instead, there is now only matte plastic. It is difficult to say whether this influences the lighting effect, but the change is noticeable.
• Some solar cells were probably slightly dirty or stuck together during installation due to adhesive residues — nothing dramatic, but you may have to clean them before using them for the first time.
I generally make a few optimizations: I replace the original battery (100 mAh) with a 550 mAh battery, seal the circuit boards with circuit board paint and bridge the switches because experience has shown that they will get contact problems at some point. The lamps then run reliably — even when there is little sun.
Conclusion: Even though savings are obviously being made on a few corners, this is still one of the best solar light series on the market for me. They are durable, easy to maintain and do exactly what they should. If I still find space in the garden, I’ll probably buy a fourth set.

So far so good. I bought a bunch of these on sale for a good price and I put them all over my garden. So far I think I’ve only had one die and there’s a few that are starting to dim a little so they’re not as bright as the others. That being said the price I paid for them almost every single one of them were up and running with the exception of one or two and they all turn on almost exactly at the same time so the light sensors all work well. The only stay on a few hours in the evening and are better when you use them closer together. They are not super bright but give more of an ambient glow to wherever you place them. The more you place around each other the better it is as far as visibility. That being said I am not disappointed in my purchase and would definitely purchase again. They have been out in the rain and threw some Florida hurricanes still work without water damage.

First impressions are good. These are smaller, which is what i wanted. The light is a warm almost amber color, so they look right.
Pro tip: dont use the assembled light to push the stake down . Put the stake and tube in the ground first, then install the light on top. I broke one light by trying to shove the whole assembly down at the same time. Will they last? Who knows. But so far, very happy.

These sloar lights are very easy to assemble. They are a little shorter than I thought, but work nicely in my front yard. The light is a warm yellowish hue, not super bright but good enough to mark the path. They stay on long after midnight. Even on some heavily cloudy days we got a few hours of lighting. Now the summer is coming, will see how durable they are under the sun and heavy rains.

Initially the lights were rec’d with one not working but I set it out and it recharged. I love these lights and the ambiance it has in my garden. They were so simple to set up…. Just a matter of turning from off to on and place stake in the ground. I purchased lights from this same company years ago and the few that did not get taken out from a hail storm are still working today. And customer service was so good about a little issue I had back then with the “stakes” which are no longer a problem with this recent purchase.
